Romaine, Bacon & Blue Salad

Products Used: Tanimura & Antle Romaine

Ingredients
  • 2 Heads of Tanimura & Antle Romaine lettuce or 3 Romaine Hearts, washed and torn into bite-size pieces
  • 4 Pieces Thick-cut bacon, cooked, drained and cooled; torn into pieces
  • 1 Basket Cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • ½ Cup Sliced green onions
  • 4 Ounces crumbled blue cheese
  • ½ Cup Plain yogurt
  • ¾ Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp. Garlic powder
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. Combine crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, plain yogurt, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, & Salt and ground black pepper, to taste, to make dressing.
  2. In a large salad bowl, toss lettuce with tomatoes, green onions and bacon. 
  3. Add about ½ of the dressing and toss well. 
  4. Add more dressing as desired and then season with salt and pepper as needed. 
  5. Serve immediately.
