State-of-the-Art Employee Housing

At Tanimura & Antle, supporting our employees extends beyond the workplace. In 2016, we opened Spreckels Crossing - our innovative agricultural employee housing community - designed to provide clean, safe, and affordable housing for seasonal team members while promoting workforce stability and long-term career opportunities in agriculture.

Building on this commitment, we expanded our housing program with the opening of La Mesa Ridge in Yuma in 2026. Together, these communities reflect our ongoing investment in employee well-being, helping our people feel supported, valued, and focused on building strong, lasting careers with Tanimura & Antle.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

At Tanimura & Antle, we believe our employees play a direct role in our success. In 2017, we launched our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), giving employees the opportunity to become employee-owners and share in the long-term growth of the company. As one of the first grower-shippers in the U.S. to offer an ESOP, we continue to invest in our people while strengthening a culture rooted in ownership, accountability, and shared success.

College Level Internship Program

Start your career with a hands-on agriculture internship at Tanimura & Antle. Our paid summer internship program is designed for college students seeking real-world experience, professional development, and meaningful work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Interns gain exposure across our business - from field operations to corporate functions - while working on impactful projects and building valuable skills. With dedicated mentorship, immersive learning through our Intern Academy, leadership engagement opportunities, and signature events like industry experiences and a San Francisco Giants game, interns leave with both professional growth and lasting connections.

Many of our employees began their careers as interns, making this program a strong pathway to long-term opportunities within the company.
