The Internship: The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate information in our Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
Location: Salinas, CA
Areas of Responsibility:
- Onboard non-confidential employees on the HCM system
- Maintain accurate and timely employee HCM information for active employees and employees that separate from the Company
- Assist with the preparation of new hire packets, recall notices, layoff notices, and employee memorandums
- Communicate and collaborate with Operations regarding employment status, absences and leaves
- Assist with domestic and H-2A employee orientations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge and experience with HCM systems
Bilingual and bi-literate in English and Spanish
Strong verbal, written and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to work Monday through Friday, and holidays and weekends as needed
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
