Tanimura & Antle Hosts Annual Employee Family Fair

SALINAS, CA. (August 2012) – On Saturday July 14^th under sunny skies, Tanimura & Antle transformed their facility into a carnival for a well-deserved party to thank employees and their families for their dedication and hard work throughout the year. The all-day event started with friendly competition on the newly minted company softball field. Families continued to arrive throughout the day to enjoy BBQ, live music and dancing, a kid zone, a petting zoo and even a health fair.

Over 5000 people attended the event that was completely free of charge from the kettle corn and cotton candy to the pony rides and the obstacle course. “We are very appreciative of our employees and their families. It is completely our pleasure to throw this party and see them enjoy themselves, “commented Brian Antle, event chairperson.

This is a party for employees put on by employees, evidenced in the popular cake walk that featured over 100 cakes that had been baked and professionally decorated by an employee volunteer team.  Another team worked in the early hours to BBQ the over 3000 pounds of beef for the carne asada lunch. Future Farmers of America, the North Salinas High Football Team, the Spreckels Volunteer Fire Department, banking representatives and many others came to volunteer their time making this event a resounding success.

Tanimura & Antle holds a similar event at their Yuma location at the end of harvest season.
