The Artisan Lettuce package was also recognized earlier this month at the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit held in Anaheim, California as a finalist for the PMA Impact Award for Excellence in Packaging under the Marketing Design category. Its specially designed clamshell was developed for the presentation and protection of each individual head of lettuce in retail packages. A contoured tray with scallop-curved edges creates four or six individual compartments for each variety of lettuce.
