Steve Bassi Senior Vice President of Agriculture Operations
Steve Bassi
Growing up on his family’s farm in Gonzales, CA, Steve Bassi did everything from driving tractors to hoeing weeds. After college, he worked as a Pest Control Advisor before coming to work with Tanimura & Antle. In his role as Sr. Vice President of Agriculture Operations, he supports each Tanimura & Antle grower to ensure maximum product quality and efficiency for each farm. Steve has enjoyed every minute of his 25 years with the Tanimura & Antle families, “it's an exciting business, and I’ve never had a dull moment.”

Alex Camany Tanimura & Antle Grower
Alex Camany
Alex Camany has been growing for Tanimura & Antle for 27 years, just one year after the Tanimura and Antle partnership was created. Alex was born and raised in the Salinas Valley, starting his career as a produce grower when he partnered with his son to start a strawberry farm. Alex grows celery, cauliflower, lettuce and lettuce mixes for Tanimura & Antle. He describes farming as “challenging…full of balancing and requiring fast decision-making. ”

Adam Secondo
Growing up in a family of farmers, Adam Secondo is no stranger to the varied life of a produce grower. Adam lives in Salinas,CA with his wife and two sons and is a 4th generation farmer who has worked with Tanimura & Antle for over eight years. What he enjoys most about growing vegetables is knowing that his work helps to feed people. Adam grows celery, romaine, green leaf, and red leaf for Tanimura & Antle. He appreciates working with a company with Tanimura & Antle’s experience.

Bill Moresco
“Be prepared for anything and everything” is a motto Bill Moresco follows and considers his key to success in the unpredictable world of growing produce. Bill Moresco has been a grower for Tanimura & Antle for over 27 years and enjoys the good working environment of the company. He has a strong passion for agriculture, which goes back to past memories of his father’s involvement in livestock in Watsonville, Ca. Bill grows broccoli, celery, cauliflower, and lettuce for Tanimura & Antle.
